In the NXFilter log I see a lot of errorsĮRROR - LoginListener._dealLogin, Couldn't find the user 172.16.19.123, d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e, agentName = CxLogon-win.Īny idea what's causing the website has been blocked error? I have to stop my Azure migration for now. ![]() The AD and Azure instances of NXFilter have similar settings and I have never got this error with AD users. If it is blocked without a reason it might be from your browser cache'. ![]() They will receive an error 'website has been blocked'. Some of them work with Active Directory but some of them can be implemeted without Active Directory. We provide several ways of single sign-on with NxFilter. Once a user logged into his PC, then he will appear in NxFilter logging and report with his PC login username. Every now and again a user will receive an error when visiting a website that they have visited successfully in the recent past. What you need is a single sign-on implementation with NxFilter. All desktops use Chrome with the CXForward extension installed. CX Logon is configured to auto register new users and add them to a default group. The first DNS of the desktop points to the NXFilter Master and the second DNS points to the NXFilter Slave. My desktops are Windows 10 Pro joined to Microsoft Azure with CXLogon v1.0.5 installed. I have installed another instance of NXFilter for use by the Azure users. ![]() Thanks.I'm migrating from Active Directory to Azure. We are always interested in finding out how NxFilter performs out there. And glad to talk to one of our paid users on Reddit. Also a valid scenario for a company having multiple branch offices.Īnyway I thought you are looking for such kind of things since you mention a cloud filtering provider. So they can share one license between multiple schools. In that case, each school can see the private IPs behind their router and they can have different policies based on those private IPs. One of our customers runs NxCloud on cloud and installs several NxRelay agents in schools for filtering all of them. Maybe building a free service for limited number of users would be a good choice to us. However, these days I feel like we need to get involved into the business deeper to find out what they need. I've been running a pair of Adguard home instances and running one in azure one in digital ocean for the past few weeks. However, I have an issue with free products that aren't open source. We have several customers running their own cloud filtering sites based on NxCloud but we don't know what happens on their side actually. ago I've been looking at the same products lately. And we are interested in building an OpenDNS like site. We will let our Globlist users to make multiple policies again. Maybe someday if we can come up with a prevetion method. That's why we don't rely on user classification. Some people classify everything into Ads or Porn. But we found some people are careless about domain classification. If you add a domain into the category and block the category somewhere, NxFilter blocks the domain with a. The other method is using a special category on 'Category > Custom' that is 'ad-remove'. With this option enabled, NxFilter blocks a domain in 'Ads' category with a blank block page. In old days, we allow people building their own repositories for Jahaslist update. One is to block it using 'Ad-remove' option on a policy. I think you were talking about helping us with human classification. Too small money or too difficult for our users? Maybe you can make such kind of Youtube video and we give you a free license for Jahaslist in return. How about making Youtube video about your LDAP setup with NxFilter? At the moment we have 900 USD prize money event going on for Youtube video creation. If you are a school user it might get cheaper as we are discussing on introducing Educational License option for Jahaslist. Do you think it's expensive? I thought we are the cheapest in the market and we don't have plan for increasing the price for next several years. So you are already a paid user for NxFilter. So you can block Porn, Malware, Ads by Globlist and block other domains using custom categories. You know they can build their custom DB and share it between them with NxFilter. We were thinking of 3 or 5 policies for Globlist but 20 policies are too many for free users. We do reseller business and if we give too many free options they don't like it. Our problem is that we can't satisfy everybody.
